Breast cancer survivors who have learned and practiced mind body self-care report a stronger sense of control and the ability to stay centered and calm during stressful situations and treatments. With awareness and acceptance of the mind/body connection, preventative self-care practices can become a healthy, enjoyable part of your daily routine. Self-care includes: meditation, mindfulness, exercise, mindful eating, proper nutrition, and enriching experiences in nature and with others. 


Learning and practicing stress-busting tools can offer a sense of personal empowerment and self-control to help you to enjoy life and flourish, even in challenging situations.
